Task 8 is to develop technologies concerning solid polymer electrolyte and water electrolysis to realize stacked electrolyte with 2500cm2 of electrode surface area, whose current density is to be higher than 1A/cm2 and energy conversion efficiency is to be more than 90%. It is also to develop high-temperature resistance solid polymer electrolyte membrane that has equal or higher property than existing material one. Small-scale hydrogen production system (with 1,000cm2 of electrode surface area, cell stack type) is to be developed in coordination with research and development of hydrogen refueling station. |
